About EXXCEL Project Management

Three Cheers for 30 Years

Red Corners

“The lessons I learned as a child from building go carts, model planes or working with tools on my family’s farm set the stage for what I do now.  Whether I am building relationships, an organization, or facilities – I am a builder.  I have always been a builder and a learner.”

– Doug Reardon,  CEO

Our Beginning

Our Beginning

The vision of EXXCEL when it began 30 years ago was to design and build operational systems that would blend two apparently conflicting ideas in the world of construction; aesthetically pleasing architectural design and value engineering.

Value Engineering is the process of identifying the client’s values, removing scope the client does not value, and adding scope the client does value.  By focusing on setting up a clear client program at the beginning of design, our goal at EXXCEL is to make the design-build process an enjoyable journey that engages the entire team.  At EXXCEL, our definition of a successful project is when the client sees their values reflected in the end product, and that is what differentiates EXXCEL from other design-build firms.
