EXXCEL provided site development, design supervision, and construction services for a large spec distribution center. This was the second building to be constructed in Centerpoint Business Park.

It started as a 701,202 SF spec shell, then was later upgraded to AIB international standards for food storage with an addition of 500,000 SF. EXXCEL’s unique procurement process, value-engineered design, and construction management system allowed the addition to be completed in 90 days.

This facility features 163 dock positions, four drive-in doors, two building entry features, 169 trailer parking spaces, and 32’ clear height at the eaves. It utilizes a conventional steel structure with precast concrete wall panels and Carlisle TPO mechanically fastened roof.
